Taiwan Update version 2.0

I'm leaving Taipei tommorow so I'm unsure of my internet accessibility after that and thus I shall update now. Seize the moment.

Hmm...so Taiwan is pretty great, besides the fact that it's ridiculously hot, so hot that if you stay outside for more than 2 min. you sweat profusely and wish you wore tank tops and short, slutty shorts...or skirts, or wutever those ppl wear...actually even if you wore nothing, I'm quite sure you'd still be drenched in sweat.

Let me tell you of the things I have eaten here in wonderful Taipei. Taipei is known for it's "night markets" which is a when a bunch of vendors come out and sell you stuff out of carts in front of the stores that are closed for the night. Thus you can get stuff at super super cheap. For instance, PMT was 25 NT and $1=32NT right now, so you do the math. Let's just say although I only eat a couple dollars worth of food every meal, every meal I am so very full =). I am also the designated finish-the-plate-person in my family, score.

The most interesting thing I had was snake, snake spit, snake blood, and some other snake thing. It was in a shop that was displaying beheaded turtles in the front which actually freaked me out...a little that is...I'm not sure I'll have the audacity to eat turtles yet, even if they are on the shops cute little business card (with their heads now of course).

Other than that, I've been eating a lot of stuff that you can get in America but it's much cheaper but far more delicious. The proportions are rather small here (which combined with the heat is I bet why everybody is skinny), but I just eat all of Jackie's food to make up for it.

Ah yes, it is quite nice here indeed.
